The Dissolution of Illusion

Featuring artists Troy Brauntuch, Jennifer Bornstein, Anthony Pearson, Evan holloway, and Bruce Nauman. This exhibition deals with the return of making "pictures" as opposed to making "paintings" or "photographs" art that privileges the image over the medium. The exhibition also takes a look at the inverse situation in which artists who (as part of their practice) deal with image-based subject matter that is compromised in such a way that the viewer's attention shifts from the image to the material.
